A SLOPE OF NATIVES

This slope is the main view from the homeowner's pottery studio located above it, and it was weedy and hard to mow. I designed a dense planting of native grasses and wildflowers that will eventually knit together in a dense matrix, reducing weeding and maintenance. Plants include bluestem grass, black-eyed susan, coneflower, wormwood, rattlesnake master, ironweed, aster, yarrow and butterfly weed.
