Garden Consultation
Schedule a 60-90 minute on-site consultation with me to identify your existing plants, discuss challenges, brainstorm design solutions, and provide recommendations. We'll review the features of your existing landscape, discuss your design wish list items, identify problem areas, note existing plants and features, and talk about your preferences for color, style, and plants. I will suggest some initial ideas and design possibilities at this meeting and for smaller projects, I can follow up with a digital plant palette specifically selected for your property.
The cost for an on-site garden consultation is $125.
Garden Coaching
I can share some maintenance techniques that I've learned in 40+ years of planting and maintaining gardens - techniques that will keep your garden looking its best with a minimal amount of effort on your part. I can show you skills like proper pruning, no-dig soil preparation, best planting techniques for trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals and bulbs, and effective weed management like edging and mulching. I specialize in pain-free techniques and tools for lifelong gardeners!
Garden coaching is billed at $75/hour.
Landscape and Garden Design
I offer a complete landscape design package with full-color, scale garden plans with all the details required for installation, accompanied by a detailed digital plant palette - everything you'll need to purchase plants and other materials, hire contractors and/or install the garden yourself.

Documents developed during the design process include mood boards for visualizing color and materials selection; functional and circulation diagrams; hardscape and planting bed sketches; and elevation and perspective sketches.
Design services are billed at $75/hour
Meet at the Nursery!
With a deep knowledge of the best plants for our region, I can provide custom plant expertise for DIY gardeners. I'm particularly knowledgeable about flowering plants that are native, deer-resistant, drought-resistant, tolerant of clay soils, and most importantly low-maintenance.
After a phone or email conversation with photos and/or videos of your garden, I will meet you at one (or more) of my favorite local nurseries and help you select the best plants for your unique garden conditions and personal style.
Plant shopping services are billed at $75/hr.
