A COZY ENTRY

This front entry area was not working for these homeowners. The existing path was narrow and crooked, and the steps to the front door were narrow and awkward. Firewood filled the space between the dysfunctional path and the house. The clients were so embarrassed by their front entry that they directed guests to the back entrance instead!

This area was updated with a wide flagstone path, a small patio/seating area near the entry and improved stairs to the front door. The firewood was relocated, and large trough planters were installed in the sunny space next to the garage and filled with edible plants. Existing perennial gardens were updated with new shrubs and small trees, reducing future maintenance. These clients are now proud to invite guests to their front entrance!
